Humane Education

Education is the long term solution to animal abuse, neglect, abandonment and overpopulation. Our program addresses these issues, along with teaching kindness, empathy and a respect for all living things. Also, since dog bites are a major concern for children, our program teaches animal safety and dog bite prevention. These "free" age-appropriate presentations reach pre-school children through adults. A $5 donation teaches a child for a lifetime about the humane treatment of animals. A $100 donation brings our lively program to an entire classroom.

Legacy Paw Pals

Formed to acknowledge the people who have so generously and thoughtfully designated gifts to us through their estate planning. Ralph's Club Card and Food4Less Community Rewards Card Membership Referral

Please register with Ralphs Community Contribution Program and Food4Less Community Rewards Program to help our orphaned dogs and cats. Each time you use your Ralphs Club Card or your Food4Less Community Rewards Card, Pet Orphans of Southern California will receive a contribution of 1-4% on every dollar spent at Ralphs or at Food4Less. There is no additional cost to you as part of this program.

Donating a car is easy!
1. Call National Charity Support Foundation at 1-877-980-2277.
2. They will pick up your car at your location.
3. You get a receipt.
4. Deduct 100% of its fair market value from your income.
5. 100% of the net proceeds goes to our cause.
6. Be sure to tell them you want Pet Orphans Of Southern California to receive the proceeds!!

This program assists responsible private rescuers in their efforts to rescue and place animals in loving homes. We provide training, financial assistance and more in our effort to find homes for all dogs and cats in the community.

In addition to monetary donations, Pet Orphans Of Southern California also gladly accepts donations of pet supplies, office supplies, and any other items we can use at our facility. When such items are donated, we can devote our limited resources to rescuing more animals.
